Founded in 2006 by Maya Derrington, Nicky Gogan, and Paul Rowley, Still Films is based in Dublin and New York. The company produces feature films, documentaries, TV series, transmedia productions, animations, and artist films.
Feature documentaries Seaview and Pyjama Girls were nominated for IFTAs (Irish Film and Television Award). Seaview received a special Jury mention at DMZ DOCS in Korea and Pyjama Girls won the audience award at the Capitol Irish Film Festival in Washington DC.
Still Films were recently honoured by the Dublin Film Critics Circle with The Michael Dwyer Discovery Award for their work over the past few years.
Teen focused Internet/TV series Sweded TV was selected by the Irish & international juries for Input, the international conference to celebrate challenging public television programming worldwide.
Still films are currently developing a slate of feature films and documentaries, and are in production on a number of shorts and co-productions.
Still Films is dedicated to providing a framework for the development of emerging creative talents and is committed to pursuing new approaches to filmmaking and distribution in all genres.

The film was conceived of at Werner Herzog's Rogue Film School and funded by the Frameworks scheme with the support of the Irish Film Board, RTE and The Arts Council of Ireland.
